Herding:
The Australian Shepherd is primarily a herding breed.
Maintaining
this characteristic is as important to us as breeding a sound dog. An
Australian Shepherd who can't work stock isn't much of a shepherd. We
also believe in breeding a dog capable of working stock in real life
situations without having to resort to sacrificing the physical
characteristics that allow this breed to function to the best if it's
ability. Poor structure and atypical working styles are not any more
acceptable to us than a dog lacking instinct altogether. The pieces fit
together as whole to make this breed stand apart as a unique
representative in the world of purebred stockdogs.
